Susan Myres is a founding member of Myres, Dale & Associates, P.C. Prior to founding the firm, Ms. Myres served as a director of the Fullenweider Firm from April of 2000 until May of 2001. After her graduation from law school in 1982, she joined the firm that became Pollicoff, Smith, Myres & Remels, L.L.P. as an associate until being named partner in 1990 where she remained until 2000. She was board certified in the area of family law in 1988 and recertified in 1993 and 1998. Ms. Myres was elected to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 1998 and to the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 2004.

Ms. Myres is licensed by the Texas Supreme Court and is authorized to practice before the courts of the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court, Southern and Northern Divisions. She is an active leader of numerous family law organizations both locally and internationally. Ms. Myres is currently Membership Chair of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and serves as Governor-at-Large for that organization of approximately 1,600 of the nation's top family lawyers.  She is immediate past President of the Texas Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Vice President of the USA Chapter of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Vice Chair of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization-Family Law Advisory Commission.  She served as Chair of the Houston Bar Association B Family Law Section in 2000 and previously served as Chair-Elect, Secretary, and Director, past President of the Burta Rhodes Raborn Family Law-Inn of Court, and former Director Gulf Coast Family Law Specialists, past Chair of Children's Friend in Court. Additionally, she is a past officer of Texas Woman Lawyers, past president of the Association of Women Attorneys, and a founder and former treasurer of the Association of Women Attorneys Foundation. She is a also a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists, Texas Bar Foundation, College of the State Bar, American Bar Association - Family Law Section, and Phi Delta Phi. She was awarded Graduate of the Year in 1982. She is a recipient of the 1992 Woman of Excellence Award given by the Federation of Houston Professional Women.

Ms. Myres received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston and her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas. She is a frequent author and lecturer on issues including: litigation; trial preparation; mediation; insurance; child abuse and professional responsibilities. Susan Myres is a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, is married to John Uri and has one daughter, Alexandra, and is a native Texan.
