Susan Myres is the owner of Myres & Associates, PLLC. The firm focuses on the practices of family law and consumer bankruptcy. Susan practices family law somewhat differently than many family lawyers. Each case has a team approach. The smallest team is the client and the lawyer but case teams can grow to several people providing resources to meet the needs of the case and the client. Whether it is involving a financial expert or guide, or finding the most appropriate mental health expert in Houston or around the country, her contacts address the real issues of the situation. Her goal is to provide the most appropriate person or method to the task needed.

Susan Myres is involved in the leadership a large variety of family law groups, locally, nationally and internationally.

Her creativity, sensitivity, experience and energy help be a catalyst for her clients struggling through some of the most difficult times of their lives. Her training, learning and experience with her cases in fields as varied as taxes to cutting edge mental health treatments bring value to her clients.

Susan Myres has been selected as a Super Lawyer since 2006. She is a trained arbitrator through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a certified Collaborative Lawyer through the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the Collaborative Law Institute of Texas.

She is a frequent author and lecturer on issues such as: litigation, trial preparation, mediation, mental health and family law, insurance, child abuse, and professional responsibilities. She is a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, is married to John Uri and has one daughter, Alexandra, and is a native Texan.
