Lori M. Kern has over 13 years of family law experience and has worked for various law firms and organizations throughout the greater Houston area. Prior to and during law school, Lori worked as a family law paralegal, assisting clients with divorces, modifications, custody disputes, and complex property issues.

Lori is a 2007 graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. During law school, she was an active member of the Christian Legal Society, St. Thomas More Society, and Evening Law Student Association.

Lori received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University with a double major in Business Management and Business Administration. She was an executive member of Phi Mu sorority, a Leadership Scholar, an honors student, and she participated in several academic achievement programs, including Harvard Model United Nations.

Lori is a member of the Houston Bar Association, Katy Bar Association, Fort Bend County Bar Association, Burta Rhoads Raborn Family Law American Inns of Court, Texas Bar Association, American Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, and the Association of Women Attorneys. In her spare time, Lori enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.
